**Position**: Tactical Security Guard
- **Site type**:Commercial Properties - Malls, Corporate Towers, Educational Institutes and other
- **City**: Toronto Downtown
- **Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
- **Hours**: Days, Nights, Continental Rotations (Mix of Days/Nights/Evenings)
- **Pay Rate**: $18.50/hr. to start

**Qualifications**:

- **Must hold a valid Ontario Security License**:

- **Minimum 1 year of Full-time Tactical Security or Patrol Guard experience**:

- **Must be available to work all shifts**:

- **Physically capable of performing the required duties which involve extended periods of standing and patrolling**:

- Customer Service Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with enforcing TPA and situations where arrests are made is an asset
- A Diploma in Law & Security or Police Foundations educational background is an asset

**Working Conditions**
- Required to work if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
- Could be exposed to hazardous situations and conditions when responding to or managing emergencies or incidents.

**Duties**:

- Patrolling the interior and exterior of premises
- Enforcing property regulations, Criminal Code and legislative statutes
- Securing restricted areas
- Facilitating access of vehicles and pedestrians at fixed posts
- Obtaining statements and collecting information for Incident Reports Performing Customer Service-related functions
- Identifying Safety Hazards Qualifications and Experience Required
- Be physically capable of performing the required duties.
- Continental schedule, able to work 12 hour shifts in a 24/7 environment.
- Basic knowledge and use of integrated security systems.
- Higher rates are achievable based on in-house promotion structure Resource Pool
