**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care Assistant to provide exceptional care for pets in their own homes. As a mobile Pet Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of pets. You will also assist our Vet Techs with animal restraints during grooming/medical appointments. This position requires a love for animals, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle various tasks associated with pet care.

**Duties**
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medications as needed.
- proper pet restaints, assist with grooming/bathing cats, dogs, pocket pets, & birds
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for pets, ensuring they are comfortable and secure.
- Engage with pets through playtime and exercise to promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to pet care, such as cleaning litter boxes or pet bedding.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving large pet supplies or assisting with larger animals.
- Maintain accurate records of pet care activities and report any unusual behavior to the owner.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in pet care or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and ensure satisfaction.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when required, particularly with larger pets or supplies.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following instructions from pet owners.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care is essential.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to travel between clients' homes.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
