Paris, Canada R&W Metal Fabricating and Design Inc. Full time

**Specific job details will be discussed during the interview process based on your skills and experience. We are looking for all levels of experience and willing to train the right individuals.**

**Possible job positions/duties**

  • Using hand power tools to assemble components onto finished steel products
  • Painting and cutting plywood using a table saw
  • Operating various metal fabrication machinery (iron worker, brake press, drill press)
  • Grinding/cleaning/inspecting steel parts using portable hand grinder
  • Loading/unloading/handling various steel components manually or with the help of material handling equipment
  • Spray-booth painting (willing to train)
  • Disassembling completed products using hand tools/power tools
  • Assembling final products using hand power tools

**Applicants must have the following skills/attributes**

  • Must have great attendance
  • Must have a solid health and safety record
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with mínimal supervision at times
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • **All positions are physically demanding** - must be able to bend, twist, squat, work overhead and lift up to 50lbs
  • 1 year experience in a production environment preferred
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, compressed air tools, portable hand grinder an asset
  • Familiar with the use of fastening hardware such as nuts, bolts, washers, screws, rivets, etc.an asset
  • Experience with drill press, shear and fabrication equipment an asset
  • Quality-minded with attention to detail

**We are hiring for both shifts**

  • Day shift: Monday through Thursday 7am - 4:30 pm; Friday 7am - 2:30pm
  • Afternoon shift: Monday through Thursday 5pm - 2:30am; Friday 3pm - 10:30pm

**Compensation**

  • Hourly wage to be determined, commensurate with skill and experience with the opportunity to expand earnings with the right attitude, aptitude and attendance.
