**Vice President/General Manager**
Emballage Tout is looking for a Vice President, Distribution Centers for its Cowansville, QC operation. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President will be responsible to oversee all day-to-day business operations including but not limited to warehouse operations, sales, human resources, and IT.
The Vice President will work with the managers and other stakeholders and implement strategies to achieve the objectives and vision established for the company by the President. The Vice President must be an amazing team player since they’ll liaise with all departments to ensure smooth operations across the company.
The Vice President will need to ensure 100% customer satisfaction while managing costs and developing and growing the business.

**Essential Responsibilities**:
- Provide leadership and direction to the business as it relates to overall business operations, organizational structure, and long-term vision.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance
- Drive change and innovations in line with target performance metrics and establishes the strategic direction to achieve industry leading cost-effective solutions
- Create efficiencies all while maintaining high service levels
- Ensure distribution operations are effectively managed by maximizing the utilization of all available resources
- Collaborate with all departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives
- Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, and facilities are in line with the organizations business plan and vision
- Manage and create KPIs in the distribution centers, proactively resolve problems, introduce best practices, and foster positive change as required. Hold leaders and teams accountable for performance
- Manage and improve Pick & Pack process
- Establish and administer the department budget; manage capital budgets effectively
- Develop and execute inventory management strategies that reduce costs, and create improved accuracy
- Establish and maintain cooperative, constructive interpersonal relationships with team members at all levels
- Establish and maintain cooperative communication and relationships with third parties, such as suppliers, vendors, and customers; use effective negotiation skills and resolve conflicts
- Oversee overall safety initiatives and functions for distribution centers
- Analyze, identify, and propose actions to increase the effectiveness of operations
- Build a high performing team and talent pipeline that supports and nurtures future leaders of the organization
- Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel
- Work with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Master's degree an asset
- Lean Six Sigma certificate an asset
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the 3PL industry and best practices
- Proven ability to build relationships and lead and influence teams in achieving organizational objectives
- Experience with change management
- Experience partnering with business leadership and other executives
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
- Strong problem identification, problem resolution and data interpretation skills
- Strong business development skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Ability to lead by example
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Ability to operate strategically, while understanding the tactical implications of decisions
- Demonstrate drive and initiative to achieve results in a timely fashion

- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
- Sound business judgment
- Detail oriented
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills in both English and French
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Intricate knowledge of WMS software
- Experience using ERP software an asset
- Responsibilities require ability to work more than regular work hours
