**Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association** is a non-profit community services agency. Since 1976, we have provided community support, home and personal health care services in a holistic manner to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with medical needs in the Greater Toronto, and York regions. With a staff of 500 members (including full-time and part-time staff) and the help of a pool of 1,200 active volunteers, we serve over 7,000 clients a year, including seniors and the physically disabled; 1,500 of whom are "home-bound" and frail. We are currently seeking a permanent full-time **Program Worker** to join our Adult Day Program (ADP) team. **Responsibilities**: - Provide administrative and clerical support to ADP daily operation such as client’s scheduling, transportation arrangement, billing, data entry and filling, inquires, clerical support, ordering supplies etc. - Provide onsite and virtual social and exercise program to the participants. - Provide health talks and social activities to the on-site participants. - Keep all records organized and ensure a proper filing system is maintained - Require to work on Saturday occasionally. - Other duties assigned as required. **Job Requirements**: - Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field - At least 2 years' experience in a community setting - Sensitivity to recognize the aging and physical needs of elderly clients - Good organizational and time management skills - Possess a caring attitude and excellent interpersonal skills - High degree of judgment and capacity to maintain confidentiality - Available to work on evenings and Saturdays - Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and CIMS - Possess valid Ontario driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for work - Proficiency in English and a second language that reflects the community served, eg.
