**Job Description**:
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Project Manager, Risk Business Intelligence Office (RBIO), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) you will provide high impact leadership on strategic Projects and Programs.
The Project Manager will establish a Central Intake and Initiative Oversight team within ERM RBIO. The objective of the role is to increase the RBIO function's ability to process reporting requests in an efficient and organized manner while also enabling clear tracking of the team members’ performance. The main responsibilities of the role include project management, stakeholder management and outreach, resource planning, project reporting, and issues management.
To help coordinate and maintain the efficient use of the RBIO’s resources, the PM will intake all requests made by RBIO partners and external entities, triage those requests and allocate them to the RBIO team following the central intake process and guidelines. The PM will track progress day to day and facilitate the resolution of issues as they are identified. Additionally, the PM will plan out the resourcing of the RBIO team across all ongoing initiative to maintain a clear understanding of the team’s capacity for reporting and to provide requests with accurate information on the expected completion times of new initiatives. The PM will report directly to the AVP, Risk Business Intelligence Office and provide reporting as well as escalated issues to the lead as applicable. The PM will work in a team to manage all responsibilities and will be expected to be collaborative with peers within RBIO and partners.
How You’ll Succeed
- Organization - Lead with organization first. You are excellent at building schedules, tracking project plans, maintaining up-to-date project action logs and providing timely updates to teams/stakeholders/leadership.
- Project Management - Outline project goals, terms of reference, and resource requirements. Help create a plan that meets the needs of all stakeholders. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team and provide guidance that will continuously improve the RBIO team.
- Strong Communication - Develop compelling presentation materials to report Workstream, Project or Program status and support executive discussion and decision making. Calibrate work progress, status and participate in the negotiation and influence with partners to ensure alignment of initiatives and individual deliverables across dependent initiatives.
- Analysis and Tracking - Proactively identify risks or issues that could take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. Monitor milestones, and ensure they are completed according to timelines. Manage schedules and produce detailed financial tracking to identify variances from Business case and monthly estimates.
Who You Are
- You have some knowledge of Canadian or US Financial Markets and/or Banking Operations (i.e., Capital Markets, Trading Platforms, Retail/Personal Banking, Digital, Robotics or AI Automation, Financial Systems etc).
- You can demonstrate experience in running end-to-end strategic projects / programs and change management in environments characterized as fast paced and high volume;
- You can demonstrate experience in Project Management methodology, principles, and Financial Tracking processes/tools, within a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager. It’s an asset if you have experience with MS Project, Program/Portfolio Management, HP Planview, and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
