**Manufacturing Technician**

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager this position will be responsible for testing ESG Solutions’ proprietary junction boxes, computers, electronics and sensors This position requires an individual who is able to work as part of a team, has a keen eye for detail and is able to follow detailed instructions.

**Job Duties**:

- Manufacture and test products as per the assembly and test procedures define.
- Read system schematics and manufacture systems to the specifications provided.
- Complete system tests by following test procedures.
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of electrical panels and junction boxes.
- Setting up system computers with ESG software.
- Test products as per the assembly and test procedures define.
- Ensure adherence to safety rules and practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Meet deadlines set out by the supervisor and/or manager.
- Be available to work overtime when needed.
- Fill in a weekly timesheet.
- Support purchasing and shipping as required.
- Potential travel to the field to support field work.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of grade 12 diploma.
- Basic soldering skills
- Ability to use hand tools such as drills and miter saw
- Basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
- Ability to stay focused in fast paced environment
- Good visual and verbal communication skills
- Be available to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work in a team
