Pedagogical Leader/program Director

As Pedagogical Leader you will provide support to Educators by acting as an exceptional role model. Our Pedagogical Leaders have a sound theoretical knowledge of relevant philosophies and act as an expert offering support and guidance on the educational programs within each program.

A primary responsibility of the role will see you collaborate with Educators and the Executive Director to maintain accountability for the completion of the educational program, documentation of children's learning and development and critical reflection tasks in all age groups.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

- Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensure child's engagement in the educational program is regularly documented and communicated with families in collaboration with Educators
- Seek feedback from families and adjust each service's educational programs
- Assist and support Educators in embedding the Reaching for Rainbows philosophy and vision within the service programs and pedagogical practices
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement within the programs by collaborating with Educators and the Executive Director and develop Quality Improvement Plans (QIP).
- Ensure cultural and community events are used to enhance the educational programs within each service
- Ensure the educational programs and Educators' practices provide every day opportunities for children to experience magic moments within the educational program.

Pay: $48,443.20-$58,240.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
