Micro Espresso is a specialty coffee roaster with two coffee shop locations in Montreal - the Old Port and Notre-Dame-de-Grace. We take pride in roasting our own coffee and have become one of the highest-rated cafes in the city. We are currently seeking an experienced barista to join our team in the NDG location at 5707 rue Sherbrooke O, Montreal, QC, H4A 1W9.
- passionate about coffee and customer service
- has at least 1 year of experience working as a barista in a specialty coffee shop
- bilingual
- has excellent communication skills
- works great in a team as well as independently
- comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- reliable and punctual
- extra focused on keeping the workplace clean

**Duties**:

- prepare specialty coffee beverages
- serve pastries
- educate customers about our selection of specialty coffee beans and help them choose coffee according to their taste
- maintain the café extra clean, stocked and well organized
- perform opening shift duties: brew filter coffee, bake pastries, clean and restock if needed
- perform closing shift duties: clean, restock and general prep for following morning shift
- operate cash register and POS
- work in tandem with another barista

Location: 5707 rue Sherbrooke O, Montreal, QC, H4A 1W9

**Salary**: $15.50 / hour + tips (around $8 / hour)

Hours: 20 hours per week

Our opening hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm every day

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
