**Summary of Responsibilities**: Reporting to the Rooms Operations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Core Work Activity**:

- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Cleans hotel guestrooms ensuring Delta Quality Standards for cleanliness, quality and comfort guestrooms including: dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies
- Perform any reasonable duties as required and directed
- Looks at each room through the eyes of the guest and using attention to detail meet or exceed the required cleaning standards
- Cleans and disinfects all bathroom fixtures and surfaces
- Changes and makes beds
- Sweeps and mops floors and/or vacuums carpets
- Dusts and polishes all furniture and fixtures
- Empties all refuse containers and adheres to all recycling policies
- Spot cleans any walls, trim, moldings, windows, door frames as needed
- Replenishes all amenity supplies and linens in guestrooms
- Organizes and maintains adequate supply of relevant items on the cart and in the stock room
- Meets the quality and productivity requirements
- Ensures the room set-up, placement and design elements are consistently followed in each guestroom
- Ensures guest satisfaction is exceptional by ensuring all Delta Service Standards and professional service standards are adhered to
- Adherence to Delta Greens requirements
- Adheres to the Lost and Found procedures
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Friendly, enthusiastic, honest, reliable and confidential
- Offer courteous and sincere hospitality at all times and “deliver great guest experiences.”

**Physical Aspects of Position**: In order to be successfully considered for this role, housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is an asset. You will have the ability to lift 10 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day, and are able to bend, stand, and reach for extended periods of time through the day, along with push a cart totaling 50 lbs. several times throughout your shift. You have a high standard for details, and you enjoy being physically active and busy. Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
