Reporting to the maintenance manager, the maintenance supervisor leads their team to achieve performance goals in a collaborative environment. A key contributor to the improvement and upkeep of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, he works closely with the quality, production and warehouse team.

**What’s involved in this role**:

- Lead the maintenance team, fostering engagement, accountability, and skill development.
- Ensure compliance with the collective agreement while promoting a business partnership approach on site.
- Coordinates and supervises work and ensures that the preventive maintenance schedule meets deadlines, while managing work orders through the CMMS and issuing necessary work permits.
- Collaborate to prioritize tasks, analyze failures and initiate continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety environmental, sanitation and quality standards (HACCP, SQF).
- Lead performance meetings and actively contribute to plant committees and projects.
- Manage team schedules, vacation planning, and timesheet approvals.

**What you need to join our team**:

- Diploma in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering, industrial maintenance training or other relevant training.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with supervisory responsibilities in a unionized environment.
- Knowledge of computer-aided maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Understanding of quality standards ( HACCP, SQF) and occupational health and safety programs.
