**Who We're Looking For**:
An individual who is passionate about marketing and obsessed with the power of persuasion.
**Primary Responsibilities**
- _**Market Research**_ - leverage social media platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok, for new trends and insight to learn about their target audience's interests and behaviour. In addition to social platforms the creative strategist will leverage surveys, focus groups, and website analytics, to make informed decisions about their campaign strategies.
- _**Competitor Analysis**_ - analyze competitor campaigns and assess their strengths, weaknesses, messaging, and creative approach, particularly through the lens of past ads and campaigns those competitors have run. Take these learnings to then tweak with their own creative ideas to follow industry trends and stand out.
- _**Develop Unique Campaign Creatives for website, new product launches & ad campaigns**_ - use artistic skills to develop unique and impactful concepts. Think outside the box and push boundaries to create campaigns that cause our audience to take notice, engage and convert, while optimizing campaigns for both creativity & performance.
- _**Lead briefing and creative production process**_ - work closely with designers, photographer/videographer and other marketing team members to bring campaigns to life.
- _**Project Management**_ - help manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Working with various teams on creative concepts and overseeing the execution of campaigns from start to finish.
- _**Storytelling and Copywriting for website, new product launches & ad campaigns**_ - doesn't need to be a master wordsmith but should understand the power of persuasive and engaging copy. The creative strategist will be responsible for preliminary copywriting to craft compelling messaging and storylines that compel people to act.
- _**Data Analytics for Ongoing Campaign Improvement**_ - work closely with Paid Media Manager to evaluate every aspect of the campaigns, analyzing data to make subtle improvements that will increase CTRs, conversions, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, Cost Per Purchase, and 3 second video views. They'll also use data to track overall campaign success and report back to leadership.
**Skills**
The Creative Strategist should possess the following skills:
- Strong research skills to quickly identify and understand market trends, target audience preferences, and competitor strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to properly convey their creative visions and collaborate effectively with other team members.
- A keen, creative eye for detail to produce engaging and visually appealing campaigns that our target audience will respond to.
- A solid understanding of strategies to increase CTRs, conversions, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, Cost Per Purchase, and 3 second video views.
- Project management skills to effectively plan, organise, and execute multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- A solid understanding of multiple digital marketing analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Meta ads, social media insights, Motion, and specialised marketing platforms to measure overall campaign performance.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions to their audience's needs.
- Understanding of the psychology behind copywriting to captivate an audience, evoke emotions, and ultimately drive desired behaviors.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Use of tools to support briefing creatives effectively like Canva, Superads, Foreplay, Notion, Motion, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and know how to thrive in it.
**Qualifications**
- Have a bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields: Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising and/or Psychology
- 3+ years of experience in a creative production environment, collaborating closely with a creative marketing team
- A proven history of developing and iterating on winning creatives.
- Experience with DTC/ecommerce business
Pay: $58,596.59-$75,000.00 per year
