We’re on the hunt for a **Junior Technologist - Electronic **on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office.

**Role**:
This is a junior level position in the Electronic Production group. Suggest procedures related to production and support the Manufacturing department during the assembly phase. This position requires supervision from superior level positions.

**Responsibilities/Tasks**:

- Suggest assembly procedures for electronic components of simple complexity.
- Prepare Routing Slips for the parts under his control.
- Define production templates associated with slips and perform a follow-up of their manufacturing
- Help assembly operators by performing detailed reviews during production.
- Follow rework procedures when an item does not meet required standards.
- Help superior level technologists in their work by participating to the development of new processes or tools and by writing summaries.
- Make recommendations in order to improve the efficiency of the production workshop.
- Ensure that the work is performed according to internal procedures and in compliance with our occupational health and safety regulations.
- Perform other discipline related duties.

**Minimum qualifications required**:

- Diploma of college studies in Electronics Technology or the equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of production techniques and electronics assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of electronics assembly tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft software and one ERP production database
- Fluent in both oral and written French. Knowledge of English is an asset.
