Bedford, Canada PARSCO ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION LTD. Full time

**Functional/Technical Responsibilities**:
1. Accomplish construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders

2. Supervise, co-ordinate and ensure that the team of various construction trade persons and workers work together efficiently to deliver the quality work and strictly meet the deadlines

4. Ensure that the sub-contractors and workers follow the blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients and establish methods, and outline the plans to meet work schedules

5. Work closely with architects and other professionals

6. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

7. Schedule regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers and other staff

8. Allocate resources and materials

9. Prepare and update work progress reports

10. Monitor the overall construction process of the site

11. Stay up to date with safety codes and other advancements in construction

12. Assist in the recruitment and training of new staff

**Required Experience and Physical Capabilities**:

- At least two to four years equivalent experiences
- Bachelor’s degree required (related major will be a strong asset)
- Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure
- Ability to keep track of multiple projects
- Ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary
- High attention to detail
- Teamwork player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour
