**Job Summary**

Job Title: Weekend Personal Caregiver (Saturday & Sunday Mornings)

Location: Downtown Saskatoon (Central Business District)

Individual with a physical disability requires a reliable, trustworthy personal caregiver for a permanent weekend position. This position is available immediately.

About the Position:

- Provide hands-on personal care support to an adult woman with a physical disability in her home
- Assist with morning routine, including transfers, washroom care, dressing, and basic personal care
- Perform some light tasks related to the morning routine as needed
- Work closely with a long-term full-time caregiver during training until you are confident and comfortable

Schedule:

- Saturdays and Sundays
- Approximately 2 hours each morning (mornings are required)
- This is a permanent, ongoing weekend position (not casual or occasional)

Compensation:

- $23.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill
- No prior caregiving experience required; full training will be provided

**Requirements**:

- Strong reliability and commitment — this position depends on you being there every Saturday and Sunday morning
- Comfortable providing intimate personal care to a woman, including washroom and dressing assistance
- Physically able and willing to perform safe manual lifts and transfers (training provided)
- Fluent in spoken and written English, able to understand instructions clearly and immediately
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to downtown Saskatoon
- Willing to learn, take direction, and work respectfully in someone’s home

Important:
The first part of training will include assessing your ability to safely assist with manual lifting and transfers. From there, training will continue into the full personal care routine.
- You can commit to both Saturday and Sunday mornings every weekend, and
- You are comfortable with the personal care and lifting aspects of the role, and
- You have strong English communication skills and reliable transportation.
