**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with compost production and general site maintenance.
- Load, unload, and transport materials using wheelbarrows and other equipment.
- Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs of material.
- Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Appropriate PPE is required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Support equipment operators and other team members as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Physically capable of handling demanding tasks and lifting heavy materials.
- Strong ability to follow instructions and collaborate with a team.
- Awareness of workplace safety practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
- Flexible availability, with preference for those able to work Saturdays.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools (an asset).
- Preferably with experience operating skid steers or other small equipment.
- WHMIS, Occupational First Aid (OFA), or related safety certifications is a plus.
- Interest in learning equipment operation, with potential training opportunities for career growth.
