**Store Manager - Role Overview**

As the **Retail Store Manager**, you will oversee daily operations, lead a team, manage inventory, and ensure outstanding customer service in a floral retail environment. Key responsibilities include order fulfillment, floral design, team coordination, and financial oversight.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and fulfill floral orders with precision and care.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase shop sales and profitability.
- Execute marketing initiatives to promote our brand and seasonal offerings.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed; minimize waste.
- Supervise daily floral operations: stocking, ordering, invoicing, and mentoring staff.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and visually appealing store environment.
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage team members; conduct performance evaluations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build customer relationships.
- Create floral arrangements, bouquets, wreaths, and displays according to custom requests or in-house designs.
- Manage payroll budgets and staff scheduling efficiently.
- Uphold a professional image and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons (Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day).
- Comply with all Health and Safety Standards as per the Health and Safety Act.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **2 years of experience** in a similar role within the floral industry
- Strong understanding of floral design, flowers, and plant care
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience in inventory management and ordering
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Marketing and promotional strategy experience
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office and Google Workspace**:

- Bilingual in **English and French** preferred

**Additional Information**
- **Store Hours**: Monday-Saturday: 9AM-5PM; Sunday: Closed
- **Job Type**: Full-time
- **Schedule**: Day shift
- **Supplemental Pay**: Bonus pay
- **Education**: Secondary School (preferred)

- Floral Experience: 1 year (preferred)
