Companion for Seniors

**Do you have the desire to serve AND have a heart for seniors?**

We are looking to hire energetic, personable, dependable people for visiting seniors in **Red Deer.**

This is a Part-time position with _regular, weekday, daytime visits_, so you don’t have to use up all your time. Training is provided, so you feel confident at being your best for your Senior friends.

**What you get to do**:

- Visit with seniors during their regularly scheduled weekly visit hours
- Take a senior out to a local appointment or shopping during visit time if requested
- Make a difference for seniors during your visit based on their individual profile/preferences
- Submit a visit summary form after each visit
- Have fun bringing enjoyment and fulfillment to the seniors you meet

**What makes you a good fit**:

- Strong work ethic and high level of dependability, and love to smile
- Have a reliable vehicle that a senior is able to easily get into and out of
- You are available for regular scheduled visits during weekdays (morning and/or afternoons and/or evenings)
- Positive attitude, compassion, dependability, and adaptability
- Have a clear Police Check with Vulnerable Sector and Drivers Abstract
- Experience with seniors and dementia is preferred however we have great training that is provided
