Leveraging your understanding of IT, IoT, building and clinical systems along with your experience with systems integration and interoperability you will take a leadership role in solution development for both pursuits and delivery.

As our **System Integration Specialist** you will:

- Determine the integration requirements for building, technology, and hospital information systems e.g., BAS, Computerized Maintenance Management System, Fire Alarm, Lighting Control, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Nurse Call, RTLS, Hospital Information System, Patient Monitoring/Telemetry, Wireless Staff Communication, Staff Scheduling, Active Directory, Unified Communications etc. to enable integration and interoperability
- Participate and or lead customer workshops to capture functional requirements
- Work collaboratively with the ICAT Pursuits team by reading and understanding the pertinent technical and functional requirements relative to your scope within the RFP and develop, design and price solutions to meet those requirements while understanding both the risks and opportunities as it pertains to your solution
- Participate in R&D activities and stay current with the latest technologies
- Create integration architecture and workflow diagrams & have the ability to develop, contribute or oversee the creation and delivery of Solution Briefs, Solution Design, Functional Specification, Testing & Commissioning and As-Built documentation
- A minimum of 7 + years of practical experience in both design/implementation of ICAT systems and system integration
- Post Secondary Degree in Building Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- Understanding of IP converged networks to allow for data exchange between systems to support integration requirements
- Understanding of hyperconverged computing infrastructure including hypervisors, virtual machines, and storage solutions for on-premise deployment of systems
- Understanding of cloud-based solutions such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform to enable cloud hosted solutions
- Ability to clearly articulate the needs of technology and break it down into schedule, cost, quality impacts to better translate to our construction teams the needs
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of communications protocols, programming languages, APIs, operating systems, and database management systems such as:

- Internet Protocol Suite: HTTP/S, TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, SIP, SSL, TLS, WCTP, XMPP
- Web Services, REST API, SOAP
- Building Systems - BACnet Modbus, OPC A&E, OPC DA, OPC UA
- Clinical - HL7 v2.x, HL7 v3.x, FHIR
- Programming Languages: JavaScript, Python, PHP, HTML, CSS
- Database: SQL, mySQL, ODBC, JDBC
- IoT: MQTT, CoAP
- Mobile: iOS and Android
- Operating Systems: MS-Windows, Linux,
- Digital Twin
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel
