Roofing Shingler

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Install shingles on roofs according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform repairs on existing roofs, including replacing damaged shingles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing roofing materials.
- Ensure proper sealing of roofs using caulking and other materials to prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the job site.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding roofing specifications.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.
- Previous experience as a carpenter or maintenance person is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for effective sealing of roofing materials.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in executing tasks.

Pay: $20.00-$37.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
