JOB SUMMARY
We’re looking for friendly, efficient and service-minded individuals to support our front-of-house team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and delivering a warm, welcoming experience for every guest. From greeting and seating to supporting servers and maintaining cleanliness, you’ll play a key role in the overall flow of our guests dining experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a positive, professional demeanor
- Escort guests to their tables or bar seating, provide menus and answering initial questions
- Maintain a clean, organized reception and entry area
- Clear and reset tables by removing dirty dishes and tableware
- Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs and other high-touch surfaces between seatings
- Support servers by restocking wait stations with glassware, silverware, napkins and condiments
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely, accurate order flow
- Thank guests as they depart and assist in creating an elevated guest experience
- Assist the front-of-house team as needed
- Other duties as required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position reports to the Manager, Full-Service Dining & Banquets and does not require any direct supervisory duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
- Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 25lbs
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication and time management skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance

WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.
