**A DAY IN THE LIFE**

In this position you’ll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines. During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather. At this site near Goderich, Ontario, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8 hours a day, but you also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends). Plenty of overtime available and the ability to travel to other sites. The team here normally works in teams of 2-3 and typically will climb 1+ turbines a day.

**MORE ABOUT YOU**
- You will need a safety-focused mindset and your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment, while being motivated and taking initiative in daily tasks
- An agricultural background or work experience is a great transferrable avenue to this entry level service technician position with Vestas
- You will bring a high school dipolma or equivalent and you will bring 1-2years of transferrable mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background or a wind school cerification
- You can identify solutions to issues with process of elimination
