**About the position**
**Responsibilities**
- Support children’s emotional, physical, and behavioral well being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
- Assist with the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum
- Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
- Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
- Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
- Ensure all classroom ratios are being met as outlined in CCEYA
- Assist the Centre Director’s with differing tasks.
- Would be travelling throughout all locations in Ontario.
- Must be comfortable role modelling and mentoring educators.
- Responsible to lead staff meetings, onboardings, and workshops as needed.
**What you need**
- Registered with the College of ECE’s and in good standing with at least 2 years of experience.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal reference check.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.
- Immunization records up to date / two-step TB test.
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 45 pounds
- Access to a vehicle (this is a requirement for this position)
