Overview:
WORLDPAC is a leading importer and distributor of OE and quality aftermarket replacement automotive parts that serves independent import and domestic service centres in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

We are currently hiring Permanent Full-Time Distribution Centre Associate/Warehouse Persons in our Richmond, BC distribution centre for our shipping and receiving departments. The shift is Monday to Friday, with a shift time of 2:00pm - 10:30pm. In addition, you will be required to work overtime on Saturdays when required.

**PLEASE NOTE IF YOU TAKE PUBLIC TRANSIT, THERE IS ACTIVE BUS SERVICE TO GET TO WORK FOR THE SHIFT START AT 2:30PM. HOWEVER, TRANSLINK DOES NOT RUN IN THE AREA AT 10:30PM WHEN THE SHIFT IS COMPLETE. YOU WOULD NEED TO HAVE ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION**

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour + shift premium ($1.00) per hour

40 hour per week

**Responsibilities**:
Our Distribution Centre Associates fulfill all shipping, receiving and inventory control functions within the warehouse when required. The use of ladders, pallet jacks, carts and other non-powered equipment will be used extensively on a daily basis to accurately and efficiently ship and receive parts through our vast distribution network.

We are also looking for forklift and powered equipment operators. Previous training and experience are great, however, we will also provide training. Forklift/powered equipment operators are eligible for an additional $1/ hour shift premium in additional to the base wage.
- Computer and RF scanning for shipping, receiving and inventory functions;
- This position fulfills shipping and receiving functions within the warehouse: sorts, organizes and prepares merchandise from receiving or the production areas to storage or to other designated areas, by part and quantity;
- May use computer to enter, maintain, locate and create records, dispatch, confirm customer or stock orders and to generate delivery manifests and receiving documents;
- Follows all safety rules and applicable laws;
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada;
- Experience in a warehouse environment;
- Must have the ability to learn and use computer and RF scanning technologies;
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs;
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude;
- Must work in an organized manner, strong attention to detail;
- Must be available Monday to Friday as well as overtime on Saturday when required

Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (This does not mean you will be lifting 50 lb. items all day) Previous warehouse experience is of course an asset, but by no means a requirement

Pay Range: CAD $19.00 - CAD $19.00 /Hr. Location Type: On-Site
