**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the daily life for the elders that live in their home by assisting with daily personal care and meal service
- Ability to utilize equipment necessary to provide care: overhead and manual lifts, bathing tubs, shower chairs, wheelchairs, etc.
- Ability to document and participate in care planning
- Act as an advocate to protect and promote elders’ rights.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- Registration with the British Columbia Health Care Aide Registry.
- Experience and additional education in Care of Persons with Dementia is preferred.
- Must be physically and mentally fit for the work environment
- Speak, read, and write the English language in an understandable manner
- Pass a Criminal Record Check upon hiring and every 5 years thereafter
- Completed TB Testing
- Must either receive annual flu vaccine, or wear appropriate PPE as prescribed by the PHO for the recommended flu season

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $28.95 per hour
