**Security Guard - Full Time**:
**Location**: UHN West Park, Toronto, ON, Canada
**Pay**: $19.19/hour
**Schedule**: Continental Rotation (0800-2000 / 2000-0800)
**Position Overview**:
As a Full-Time Security Guard at UHN West Park, you will play a critical role in protecting patients, visitors, and hospital staff. You’ll patrol the premises, monitor security systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment in accordance with hospital safety protocols.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular rounds of the hospital premises, including parking areas, hallways, entrances, and exits.
- Operate security cameras and alarm systems; report suspicious activity immediately.
- Monitor and control entry to restricted areas.
- Respond quickly to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, or security threats.
- Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff, ensuring adherence to hospital policies.
- De-escalate conflicts and handle incidents professionally.
- Document daily activities and prepare incident reports.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and local law enforcement.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario Security License.
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (WSIB-approved).
- COVID-19 vaccination (two doses) and immunization records (MMR, Varicella, TB test).
- N95 mask fit certification.
- English fluency (oral and written).
- Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
- Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and MOAB — or willingness to complete Paladin’s paid training program (with a 6-month commitment).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
