Engage2Excel group is looking for a professionally-dynamic person to join our Fulfillment team in Canada.The Product Assembler is responsible for following procedures for product assembly, equipment operation, and safety requirements. The product assembler position is a manual handling, labour intensive job. Perform any combination of repetitive tasks on an assembly line for small products. May work on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.

**KEY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Position products within presentation box according to blueprints showed on internal orders.
- Open and close products for gluing; Fasten parts together by hand using hand tools (bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, etc.)
- Ensure that proper client user name label is applied to proper unwrapped product
- Ensure that the number of units being produced matches to the corresponding units needed for order; Stamp order when verified
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to his/her lead hand.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

**Qualifications / Skills Required**:

- Basic knowledge of field’s concepts and practices within his/her unit
- Basic knowledge of company policies, procedures relevant to the unit
- Verbal communication skills, Partnering, Team work
- Decision Making/Judgment; Problem solving; Initiative
- Attention to details, Dexterity
- Light physical effort; frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
- Standing, bending and lifting up to approximately fifty pounds during a typical eight hour workday.

**Experience**:

- Product assemblers will have one to two years manufacturing assembly experience.
- Operating a motorized stand-up pallet jack - Properly building a stable pallet load
- Wrapping pallets of product with plastic stretch wrap
- Previous experience using the computer for basic functions

**Education**:

- Less than High School degree

**Language**:

- French or English (Montreal)
