Dispatch & Inventory Supervisor

Serving our clients since 1940, the Commonwealth Plywood Company Ltd is a fully integrated forest products company: Veneer, Lumber, Plywood, Flooring, and Distribution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products/services to customers.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Create and manage work schedules for drivers.
- Monitor and maintain dispatch logs, inventory records, and fleet maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues related to dispatch services and inventory.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve dispatch operations and inventory management.
- Train and mentor new drivers and provide ongoing training to existing team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to drivers.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and supplies used in dispatch operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of dispatch, logistics, or inventory management experience required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dispatch/inventory management software.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Valid driver's license, A-Z a plus.
