**Key Roles & Responsibilities Shipwrights or Apprentice Boatbuilders**
- Produce and repair custom woodwork to a high standard for and on yachts/ships
- Ability to use small tools, operating air/hand/power tools, saws, drills and grinders
- Ability to safely operate/maintain woodworking machinery (tables saw, joiners etc.)
- Ability to work as a team member and take direction from supervisor

**Key Roles & Responsibilities Marine Finishers / Apprentice Finishers**
- The disassembly and re-assembly of the boats/parts as needed to achieve the finish requirements.
- The applicant will be given full training and support required to decide the proper techniques and tools to properly accomplish the tasks set before them.

**Team and Safety**

Help to develop unity and teamwork with respect and positive attitude every day.
Promote positive interdepartmental relationships. Be aware of safety protocols with different chemicals, paints and varnishes and wear the appropriate protective clothing.

**Schedule Requirements and Physical Demands**:
Able to work an average of 37.5 hours per week based on a 5 day week or 22.5h based on a 3 day week.
Able to work with some degree of flexibility
Able to walk, kneel and stand up to 7.5 hours a day. Requires Stairs climbing, lifting, standing, kneeling, bending and getting in and out of boats on the hard/in water. Able to lift up to 60 lbs using proper safety procedures.

Requires ability to work in high temperatures during the summer months along with increased humidity

This job involves exposure to potentially harmful substances and therefore appropriate PPE should be worn at all times as appropriate.

Physical distancing where possible. Masks to be worn by visitors to the site and when in close proximity to a visitor. Hand sanitiser is readily available. Time off is given if symptoms of Covid-19 are present whilst awaiting a negative test.
