Leisure Travel Advisor

**LEISURE TRAVEL ADVISOR - Strathmore, AB**

**Position Overview**

As key members of the Vision Travel team, Leisure Travel Advisor will be responsible for the successful completion of leisure travel arrangements for Vision Travel clients. This role will work closely with Leisure Travel team members within the Strathmore, AB branch and report to the Branch/Regional Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide leisure travel sales by building a clientele of new and existing business
- Build client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events and personal networking
- Sell Vision Travel strategic supplier products
- Plan itineraries, book tickets, and arrange travel accommodations and services
- Research and provide solutions to client travel-related problems
- Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients
- Continued education via Virtuoso Travel Academy, internal programs, and travel

**Basic Qualifications**
- 2+ years of travel agency experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills
- Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
- Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
- Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
- Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Organizational skills that result in high productivity
- Must be able to lawfully work in Canada
