In your role as Analyst, Indirect sourcing you will responsible to provide analytical and project management support to sourcing leadership and assisting with category management activities. You will monitor indirect spend across a range of categories that support key business units across the enterprise (e.g., Supplies; Travel & Events; Fleet; Construction, Equipment, Maintenance; and Utilities).

Your Role:

- Implement vendor management and compliance programs including SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and pricing for products for products and services.
- Execute category management / sourcing analytics- Analyze market trends, assess supplier performance, and evaluate the impact of external factors on the procurement of products
- Work with suppliers and cross functional teams during testing of the products or services
- Compile scope of work and requirements, analyze and evaluate vendor proposals, and negotiate final commercial terms
- Comply with NWC purchasing guidelines
- Provide project support and communication to category leaders (project tracking, meeting minutes, etc.)
- Develop and confidently present analysis - both quantitative and qualitative - to Procurement and Business leadership to obtain approval to award business

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree required (major related to Management, Business, Economics, Supply-Chain, Finance, Accounting).
- 1+ years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytics, or Management Consulting.
- Strong analytical ability, strategic thinker, learn and process new information quickly
- Ability to quickly capture, analyze, and summarize large data sets
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks without direct supervision, while paying strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Intellectually curious, eager to gain new experiences, qualifications, and responsibilities
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to confidently and expertly interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 15% of time for supplier presentations, site visits, and key department meetings at Headquarters
