Maintenance Painter

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Restore and maintain surfaces to ensure longevity and aesthetic appeal.
- Work with drywall and perform necessary repairs prior to painting.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in construction painting, industrial painting, or commercial painting is preferred.
- Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of various painting materials and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require lifting or rigging materials.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
