Description
The Wetaskiwin Salvation Army Thrift Store is looking for a part-time salesclerk who can work 24 hours per week.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Sorting, pricing and displaying donations
- Operating cash register
- Process money and interact payments
- Internal customer service
- General cleaning
- Working in a team setting
- Sales associate

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- NOTE: For some jobs, you may be required to provide validated educational documentation.

**Education/Certifications**:
Completion of Public School (alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable)

**Experience**:
Up to three months of prior related experience including, experience with warehouse processing or goods distribution and knowledge of lifting guideline are an asset.

**PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES**:
Customer friendly/people skills
Able to efficiently run cash register and interact machine.
Able to lift 40 pounds and wear steel toed shoes (PPE)
Able to tolerate dust.
Able to work together with others in respectful manner
Background check consent
A clear vulnerable sector screening
A clean driver abstract
Completion of our online Prasedium Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.

**DAYS and HOURS of work**:
Expected to work weekdays and some evenings and alternate Saturdays.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then off the following week. Hours Monday to Wednesday and Saturday are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday & Fridays will be 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
