**Field Service Technician (Sudbury)**
K4 Integration - Servicing the north from the north - Measurement Canada Accredited
**ABOUT US**: K4 integration install - maintain - calibrate to measurement Canada standards scales / weighing solutions used by our industrial clients throughout their processes. The cost associated with weighing devices that are inaccurate even by a fraction can result in consequential loss of revenue and Measurement Canada non-compliance for our clients. Our team of factory trained measurement Canada accredited technicians service, calibrate and certify all brands of industrial scales for customers big and small. We are a valued service provider to municipal waste, provincial transport, mining, steel making, farming, food production and aggregate sites throughout Northern Ontario and Quebec.
**FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN POSITION**: K4I is looking for an enthusiastic team player interested in a career with on-going coaching - training - support with a plan for personal growth to join our team of seasoned team of co-workers responsible for the repair - installation - maintenance - calibration of industrial scales and weighing solutions.
**DUTIES**:
- Expert Scale Technician / Trusted Advisor
- Troubleshoot - Test - Repair
- Calibrate industrial weighing systems including complex load cell systems.
- Respond to emergency repair at customer site.
- Work / Collaborate as part of a team - work independently responsible for the installation, maintenance, upgrade, calibration of weighing equipment vital to our client operations.
- Communicate clearly / effectively with clients and coworkers.
- Complete accurate service reports / submit daily work orders.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment at all times.
- Communicate with clients, listen, document all required work / concerns within work order and internal company documents.
- Participate in training requirements in house / out of country factory training.
- Complete / maintain “legal for trade certification as a Measurement Canada Accredited Technician.
- Comply with “Measurement Canada” legislative requirements.
- Follow / Comply with all policies including health and safety, ministry of labour, ministry of transportation, client site specific rules and regulations.
- Represent the company in a professional manor. (PPE - professional appearance)
- Maintain company service vehicle, tools, laptop in good condition.
- Travel as required to client sites / factory training
**Qualifications**:
- Bilingual (English - French) an asset.
- Physically fit, able to lift 50 lbs. / 25 Kg
- Valid Driver’s license - Class DZ Driver’s License with clean abstract (willing to train)
- Mechanical - Electrical - Instrumentation training required (millwright/electrical/instrumentation).
- Experience with inspecting - troubleshooting - repairing - maintaining structural, mechanical, electrical systems.
- Work well as part of a team under all types of condition.
- Detail orientated and respectful of policies and regulations
- Working knowledge of industrial weighing equipment and solutions (willing to train).
- Measurement Canada Accreditation (willing to train).
- Critical thinker - Problem solver.
- Able to travel as required to client sites / factory training in U.S.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
