**About the Job**:
The Community Legal Advocate will provide trauma-informed person-centered support to women in the community who are facing criminal charges, with priority given to Indigenous women and women who are racialized. The Community Legal Advocate will support the Staff Lawyer in all areas necessary, as well as women who are accessing the Early Resolution Program. This role requires a strong understanding of criminal law procedures and legal writing, in addition to an in-depth understanding of the systemic barriers experienced by Indigenous women and women who are racialized face within the criminal justice system.
