**Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide academic support for students in grades 9 to 12.
- Assess students’ individual learning needs and, when applicable, develop customized lesson and instructional materials plans based on educational standards to address specific academic challenges.
- Help students complete assignments and develop executive functioning skills that promote independent learning.
- Assist students in developing effective study habits, time management skills, and test-taking strategies.
- Track and report on students' academic progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting tutoring strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other educational staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, student progress, and feedback for future reference.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with students in an educational setting.
- OCT certification and/or experience working with students with special needs is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse learning needs and preferences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in tracking student progress and maintaining records.

**Job Type**: Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Additional pay:
