**PRODUCTION WORKER (Victoria, BC)**

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Worker’s duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

- Operate Machinery
- Report any problems to Supervisor
- Uphold our safety standards and report any potential violations to supervisor or safety committee member
- Work in a team environment with the ability to communicate in a concise, polite, and respectful manner
- Monitor quality of product brought in and ensure correct dates have been pulled
- Packaging/Sealing of meat products
- Clean tools prior to end of shift and fulfill HACCP requirements
- Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the labels
- Extra duties as assigned by supervisor

**Requirements and qualifications**:

- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
- Physically fit and able to lift, push, and/or pull, weight of up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working with raw meat products
- Knife skills considered an asset
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ensure safe and hygienic practices are applied to all tasks performed
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and be a minimum 18 years of age
