- **Audit Assistance**:Support clients during audits by representing them before taxing authorities when necessary.
- **Documentation Management**:Maintain detailed records of transactions to support filings.

**Required Skills**:
**To excel as a Tax Specialist**:

- Strong understanding of federal/state/local taxation rules
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Excellent analytical skills—attention to detail is crucial
- Effective communication abilities—both written & verbal
- Problem-solving mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (Advanced degrees are advantageous).
- CPA certification preferred but not always required
