We are seeking an Entry Level General Labourer to join our team in Burlington.
This position requires rotating shifts - days, afternoons, and nights.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists slitting crew with the offloading of material.
- Prepares materials needed for packaging following prescribed routines in moving and operating machines or as directed by supervisor.
- Packages material according to packaging codes. May instruct forklift truck operator to move product to staging area for shipment.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Quality System Requirements:

- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Verify the implementation of solutions.
- Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Represent the needs of the customer in internal functions in addressing TS 16949 requirements.

Applicable Methods Used (procedures, manuals, associated references):

- Complies with the designated QS:9001 responsibilities, environmental management system, health & safety and company rules and guidelines.
- Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safe work habits are utilized by all department personnel and visitors.
- Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required at all times.
- Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards.
- Strives for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
