ACI Brands Inc. is one of Canada’s largest multi-divisional suppliers of consumer products, focused on all channels of Canadian and U.S. retail. Located in Oakville at the Mississauga border, our dynamic company has an exciting opportunity for a part time Payroll and Benefits Administrator.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Payroll and Benefits administrator will be responsible for processing and administrating all aspects of payroll and group benefits for ACI Brands Inc.

**Job Type**: Permanent Part time

Schedule: Flexible, 2-3 days a week, more around month end, yearend. Must be available to work on payroll commit days

**Salary**: $40-45 per hour

Location: WFH or Hybrid. Training would be in person

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
**Payroll**:

- Review, prepare, and process payroll bi-weekly for approximately 190 hourly and salaried employees
- Utilize Dayforce HCM to produce accurate and timely payroll
- Ensure compliance with all applicable provincial and federal wage and hour mandates
- Verify hours worked, paid time off, deductions, and pay adjustments
- Process and issue employee paychecks and statement of earnings and deductions
- Collaboration with HR Department to ensure all data is accurate and received within payroll deadlines for processing.
- Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters and tax issues
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
- Ensure all taxes are reconciled, processed, and paid in a timely manner
- Conduct all Year End payroll tasks including processing T4’s
- Serve as team lead for the payroll function and provides guidance with complex payroll tasks
- Perform other duties assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of related payroll experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Payroll experience must include Ceridian Dayforce or similar HCM, WFM and employee self-service portal experience including processing hourly payroll.
- Strong Computer skills (Payroll software, Excel, and word processing) and knowledge of office procedures
- Strong technical support skills related to time and attendance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication (verbal and written), problem-solving skills & interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to maintain confidentiality and practice discretion in interactions and dealings with others.
- Payroll Certified Practitioner (PCP) and Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) are preferred
