**Class 5 Driver - P&D Courier Owner Operator (Mon-Fri - Day Shift)**

**Midland Transport Limited has become a leader in the transportation industry by providing superior quality service to our customers.**

**Our services include LTL, T/L, Courier Services, and Third-Party Logistics/ Brokerage which provide the convenience of one-stop shipping.**
- Flexible, varying work schedule: Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:00 to 17:00.
- Will report to Dartmouth Terminal, NS.
- Tailgate and reefer not required.

**Our requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of safe driving experience
- Class 5 driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract and criminal search
- A vehicle maintained in good conditions (less than 8 Y).
- The vehicle should be covered with Midland brand (at the cost of Midland).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to provide Superior Quality Service

**What We Offer**:

- Hourly rate $37.73
- Non driving hourly rates $22.59-when work performed at the Terminal dock.
- Insurance costs are deducted at a rate of $59.62 bi-weekly from the Owner Operator.
- An excess km charge will be paid on every kilometer driven over 105 km per day at a rate of $0.25/km.
- Fuel purchased at authorized fuel stops designated by the Company will be charged to the Owner Operator at a rate of $0.408 on gasoline or diesel.
- Uniform Allowance is $350 per unit, per year.
