Matrix is hiring a full-time Site Carpenter for one of Alberta's leading residential development companies located in Calgary AB.

**Working Conditions**:

- Travel between job sites
- Monday to Friday: 8-5pm
- Weekends and/or evening may be required occasionally

**Scope of Work**:

- Frame Checks
- Check support columns are as per plans, plumb and secure
- Framing basement stairwell walls c/w supports Framing of bulkheads and or dropped ceilings Installation of backing including but not limited to specific kitchen, bathroom and stairwells
- Adjust and secure exterior doors
- Install exterior door locksets
- Fix or replace bowed wall studs
- Cut - patch floors
- Frame checks
- Ensuring work areas are kept neat and tidy
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Requirements**:

- General construction safety knowledge
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and Engineering details
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license
- Criminal Background check required
- Own tools and steel toes footwear
- Valid CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid Certifications, Fall Arrest, and Lift Equipment courses an asset. Company will provide training

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years previous framing experience required
