We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and caring nanny to join our family and help care for two amazing kids, ages 3 and 7. This is a part-time position with 16-32 hours per week, ideal for someone who loves the outdoors, is passionate about child development, and (bonus) has a background in competitive hockey.
About the Job:
Schedule: 2-4 days per week (16-32 hrs)
Location: North Nanaimo
Compensation: $20-$25 + benefits
Start Date: June/July

Key Responsibilities:
Supervising and caring for a 3-year-old and a 7-year-old during the day
Supporting homeschooling with structured learning time (2-3 hrs daily)
Leading hockey training activities (shooting drills, stickhandling, plyos)
Preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks
Planning and supervising outdoor play, hikes, and park time
Light tidying related to the kids (dishes, play area, meal cleanup)
Driving to occasional hockey practices or outings
Female (as preferred by the family)
Experience working with children 3-8 years old
Has experience playing Competitive Hockey
Physically active, confident managing outdoor activities
Comfortable with basic athletic drills or has a sports/hockey background
Organized, warm, and dependable
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) (Not Mandatory
Bonus Points:
Former competitive hockey player or strong understanding of the sport
Early childhood education or teaching background
Comfortable taking initiative and managing the daily rhythm of two active kids
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
