Concrete and Damp-proofing Labourer's Needed

**Job Summary**

**Job 1**:

- As a **Concrete Labourer**, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to concrete construction projects. This role requires physical strength, dedication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Our primary work is on residential jobs, but we also complete agricultural and commercial work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation of worksites by setting up forms and scaffolding and maintaining a clean jobsite during and after completion
- Pour concrete into forms and spread it to the appropriate level
- Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete
- Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment
- Loading and stripping of forms when the job has been completed
- Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

**Skills**:

- Mechanical knowledge to operate tools and equipment effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in concrete construction
- Proficiency with hand tools commonly used in concrete work
- Experience with troweling and setting up and stripping of forms would be an asset
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints for project understanding

**Qualifications**

- Experience in construction industry with a focus on _**concrete work**_, minimum 2 years experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools for concrete forming and finishing
- Ability to interpret and work from blueprints and schematics would be an asset
- Strong understanding of heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols
- You must have safety work boots, an apron and hammer as well as a hard-hat

- Experience with **wrapping** of foundations using _Delta Wrap_ or a similar product as well as **damp-proofing**, minimum 2 years experience
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and equipment operation
- Ability to drive a pickup truck towing a trailer
- You must have safety work boots, an apron and hammer, as well as a hard-hat
