**About the role**:
As* Production Associate,* you will work in a team setting using state-of-the art techniques and equipment to manufacture and package radiopharmaceutical products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support production of radiopharmaceuticals within a GMP environment
- Follow batch records for the synthesis, formulation and packaging of products
- Operate various pieces of production equipment for the production of radiopharmaceuticals
- Perform routine cleaning of aseptic areas and cleanroom suites, including managing of waste disposal
- Aseptic handling of materials
- Prepare solutions for the manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals
- Perform routine calibration of equipment
- Follow experimental plans to support the development of radiopharmaceuticals
- Perform decontamination cleaning of radioactive containment (Hot Cells with manipulator arms, Isolators, Biological safety Cabinets)
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving

Required Education/Experience/Knowledge*:
*
A post-secondary education in Chemistry, Chemistry Technology, Radiopharmaceutical, Biotechnology or a related field
- Junior to intermediate level experience in a similar role
- The ability to lift 23 kilograms (50 pounds)
- A willingness to work evening, night or various shifts on a rotational or fixed basis
- A willingness to work weekends
- Experience working in a GMP and pharmaceutical grade clean rooms, medical isotopes, is a definite asset
