**Human Resources Business Partner** to join our Global Human Resources Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization
Reporting to the Global HR Director, the
** HR Business Partner** will provide critical HR support to IDC Canada. The HRBP will help execute IDC’s core people initiatives to support our business objectives, in the areas of recruitment / talent acquisition, compensation planning, employee relations, performance management and organizational design and development. In this role, the HRBP will be an integral part of helping IDC Canada grow and be successful.
The
**HR Business Partner** role is based in IDC Canada’s Toronto office. The expectation is a hybrid schedule (2 days in the office, 3 days working from home on average). This role is full-time, 37.5 hours a week / 7.5 hours per day.

**Responsibilities**:
- Ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to drive continuous process improvement and productivity
- Collaborate with other HR team members to create innovative HR programs, driving functional excellence and process improvement
- Market and maintain the integrity of the IDC Canada HR SharePoint site
- Enter and maintain employee data in UKG/Ultipro (HRIS)
- Guide and facilitate resolution of employee relations matters
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers through the performance management process and compensation planning process
- Ensure compliance with Company policies, guidelines, and processes
- Assist with employment letters, compensation changes, and terminations
- Manage Canada’s usage of the IDC worldwide platform for Reward and Recognition and Performance Management, including marketing, employee training, troubleshooting, and reporting
- Work closely with Global HR and Finance colleagues
- Co-manage reorganizations and organizational development initiatives
- Bring a genuine curiosity and ability to successfully monitor the pulse of the client base to ensure a high level of employee engagement and retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; CHRP certification a plus
- 5+ years of HRBP experience, including experience in recruitment/talent acquisition
- Ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment with competing demands, both independently and as a member of a collaborative HR team
- Demonstrated ability and comfort interfacing at all levels of the organization as a trusted partner
- Proven ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Positive and collaborative “roll up your sleeves” attitude and a sense of humor
- Prior experience with Application Tracking Software (ATS) systems such as iCIMS a plus
- Strong attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office suite
