- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs
- Assist with daily routines including preparing and serving nutritious meals, feeding, and cleaning up after meals
- Change diapers and follow parents' lead with toilet training
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social manners
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe play and living environment
- Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and handle general childcare hygiene
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and linens
- Maintain daily records of children's activities and health information
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and needs
- Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Provide occasional vacation relief or support to other caregivers if needed
