Black Hole Bistro

The **Black Hole Bistro** is a private retreat located inside Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics which operates for resident scientists, visiting researchers and conference and workshop guests, who quite often continue their discussions and collaborations over a fine meal.

Some of the most exciting research at the Institute is based on the study of black holes; consequently **Black Hole Bistro** was a fitting name and unanimous hit. After opening on January 7, 2005 the restaurant has steadily grown to become the social hub of Perimeter. It provides a comfortable getaway from research offices and serves as a focal point for entertaining all guests. Bistro staff welcome many of the world’s greatest scientific minds to their tables. Cuisine is structured around fresh local produce and adapted to fit an international palate. Classic recipes are updated with contemporary ingredients and inspiration.

**Part Time Black Hole Bistro Server**
Applicants must be self-motivated individuals, with a focus on excellent customer service, attention to detail and a willingness to learn and refine new skills. The position entails, but is not limited to: serving of lunches, dinners, barista service, formal dinners and special events.
