Reporting to the Logistics Department, Truck Drivers are responsible for the pick-up used cooking oil on a variety of routes and shifts. You will also be responsible for filling in for other drivers on vacation or on sick leave. We provide full training for the first 3 weeks. We are looking for drivers with a passion for driving and a commitment to the environment to join our growing team
**WE OFFER**:
- $23.03 per hour
- Overtime after 42 hours

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the pick-up of used cooking oil from a variety of locations throughout the Atlantic Provinces including P.E.I., Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland
- Familiarity within the Atlantic Provinces is an asset
- Team oriented and willing to assist with all routes
- Tasks will include some physical demands such as repetitive pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
- Accurate completion and submission of all required paperwork.
- Conduct all interactions with customers and suppliers in a respectful, professional, and service oriented manner.
- Required to formally report any concerns or customer service related issues.
- Responsible for following all company and Health and Safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents.
- Responsible to ensure that both tractors and trailers are maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
- Ensure safe driving operations.
- Responsible for effectively and efficiently dealing with ad-hoc issues that may arise.
- Other duties including yard and plant duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE**:
- Valid Class 1 Drivers License
- Clean drivers/CVOR and abstract
- Able to perform physical labor such as moving the drums, using hydraulic lifts and lift carts
- Flexible to work overtime and a variety of shifts as required
- Customer service orientated
- Good communication skills
