**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Plans and schedules drivers to ensure proper staffing across all shifts and loads, ensuring alignment with volumes and service expectations.
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics operations.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records of shipments and inventory.
- Monitor freight movements and address any delays or discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with other dispatchers and management team
- Maintain a high level of phone etiquette when interacting with clients and team members.
- Compiles data on incidents and accident, distributes and communicates with appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the shipping and receiving processes as needed.

**Skills/knowledge required to perform the job in a satisfactory manner**:

- Previous dispatch or transportation coordination experience (preferably in trucking/logistics).
- Awareness of Highway traffic act including hours of service, TDG, weight restrictions etc (would be an asset).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using trucking software for data entry and shipment tracking.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems is preferred but not mandatory.

**Work Timings**:

- 10 _PM-6:30 AM_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.22 per hour
